A new trend and one that I personally am not that into

Lilly getting naked during nap time.

Who else does this? You know who you are out there...just confess.

When food is left out at our house

She came up with this plan all by herself. I swear we feed this child.

I am happy I didn't leave the knife out next to the cheese. Yikes.

How to accessorize

You really can build an outfit around your accessories.

The Evolution of a model

First off...Lilly has decided that the off the shoulder look is a fabulous look for her. She has it going on every day when I go and get her from her nap.

Request Granted

So quite a few people have asked why isn't the public seeing any Lilly videos lately. I realize Drew has been showcased for his "advance" toddler knowledge in recent videos and Lilly has been somewhat absent. Well, here you go. Please enjoy the video of Lilly below.

If any one out there can interpret what she is saying, I would love to hear...but now the public can see why it is a little more challenging to get Lilly to recite her ABC's, shapes, or colors. :-)

PS- I love the part in the middle of her rant where she almost gets knocked over by her own emotion to her made up words. So great.

PPS- I absolutely love this spirited little girl.

Following in Mama's foot steps

I'll admit that at times I get just slightly tired of the whining, but there is nothing an ipod shuffle can't help in that area.(he he) Lilly has seen me wear it when I get her from her nap and now wants to wear it constantly.

Learning how to groove with the ipod shuffle. Made for a munchkin like Lilly. That should be their new motto.

Maybe a song off the Twilight soundtrack brought on this smile?? It makes the mama smile.

A dance move must have dislodged the ear piece and it was very concerning...as you can see from the look.

Funny little monkey

She really does resemble that monkey on her shirt....definitely in the cheeks and even more so in the personality.

No Joke

I did NOT enhance this picture in any way. This is exactly what I saw when I went to get Lilly after her nap yesterday.

The face just fits the hair better in this picture

"Napping Lilly"

I have to think that moving to a big kids bed will only make this habit happen more frequently...more surface area, right?

The Gloves

So Lilly has started to insist on wearing these gloves when she is around the house. Despite the fact that she can't actually play normally in them, she proceeds to pick up balls, toys, or even food with them on. When the item falls or is dropped, she refers to her "high pitch-only dogs can hear" scream because the item is not doing what she wants. When Todd and I tell her to take off the gloves so everyone in the house will be happier again, my darling daughter usually does not agree with us.

Is this telling of the future?

Well, we already call Lilly pigpen with her eating habits, rolling in dirt, throwing sand on her head and down her shirt. And now this is how she will keep her kitchen? God bless the guy who ends up with her

I'll just step over this mess...

Everything in my kitchen looks fine to me. This is my style people

Re-living the zoo

So I decided to show the kids the footage we got from the zoo this past weekend. Not only did I want to see if it sparked any memories, but also because they loving seeing themselves on TV(or on the computer). I think it is safe to say that Lilly has created her own happy-gallop dance recently and the giraffe's brought the happy dance out again. Other things that bring on the happy dance include: airplanes and large semi-trucks.

Calling on the mothers, doctors, or any expert on kids

Can't a child hurt themselves by doing this too often?
Like busting a blood vessel somewhere?
It made me laugh one day and now it's her go to "tactic" when in trouble

Graduation

So she graduated from getting stuck on the floor beneath the chair, to on top of the chair underneath the table. The accomplishments are really endless in this house.
