Good ole' Sonoma County Fair
This is one of the two rides we went on at the fair. These big dogs went in a circle and up and down. Mommy and Daddy had to ride with us, and thankfully mommy didn't throw up on anyone after the ride.

This is our friend Cole who came in from out of town to play with us and come to the fair. He likes animals, climbing on things, pizza, and being outside. Our type of friend.

The princess

WE were SOOOOO tired by the end of our 3 hour stay at the fair we could only just sit dazed and confused as we gazed up at the colorful lights on the Carousel.

We did get to see a bunch of dogs jump into a giant pool. We liked it, but couldn't figure out why mommy insisted on taking us to the fair during our normal nap time. We did our best to have a good attitude, but even the splash dogs couldn't make us feel better here.
There is nothing like a beautiful symphony of crying kids and barking dogs that say it's time to leave the fair.

Calling on the mothers, doctors, or any expert on kids
Can't a child hurt themselves by doing this too often?
Like busting a blood vessel somewhere?
It made me laugh one day and now it's her go to "tactic" when in trouble

I wonder if our neighbors appreciate this?
Just in case you are wondering what that white hose is that actually(and luckily) deflected a rocket rock coming right at Drew...that is a hose connected to misters that feel very enjoyable on HOT days in our backyard.

3 years in a blink
So mommy and daddy said they were celebrating some sort of anniversary and we got to go have a sleep over at Nana and Boppa's house. We love their big house and big backyard to play in. I don't think we really even missed mommy and daddy. We went on a walk around the neighborhood and stayed on the side walk for most if the walk thanks to Boppa.

We played in their fun sand box.

We climbed and played on slides inside and outside. Nana and Boppa have a bunk bed with a big slide too. Nana took down the ladder so we wouldn't hurt ourselves after a while with all the excitement.

Oh ya... and we guess this is what mommy and daddy did. I guess they are having fun. But how can they really have that much fun without us?

Sign of Intelligence
So some things are soaking into this child's head. Some days, from the mom perspective, it doesn't feel like much information (like stop jumping on the couch) is really getting absorbed :)

Not quite adult size yet
Speaking of sizes. Drew and Lilly just went in for their very tardy 18 month well baby check-up(they are 21 months to date)
Drew in the heavy weight division weighing in at 25 1/2 pounds and 34 inches tall.
Lilly in the feather weight division is officially(oops..might of turned her car seat around too early if I was a law abiding citizen) 20 pounds and 31 inches tall.
All is well in the medical department besides the fact that Drew has a third nipple and Lilly has webbed toes that over lap one another. Just a few more unique things that make Drew and Lilly special, right?

Oregon Trails
You can control the slideshow's speed in the bottom left hand corner along with pausing it if you need a better look. And if you are interested in captions with each picture, drag your mouse across the sliding picture. :)
Thoughts on Oregon-
Lilly's thoughts: The car ride wasn't all that bad. I didn't nap much in the car, but looked outside and pointed to all the new things I saw. I liked to wake up around 1am and say, "mama, mama, daddadadadada" because I knew they were in the room sleeping with my brother and I. I usually stayed awake for a couple hours or so. I made a new friend LoLa that I want to play with every week. I liked playing with a girl instead of always just my brother. I kissed all the boys more than once which made my daddy unhappy, but made the mommies laugh. I loved swimming and have no fear when it comes to anything really in life.
Drew's thoughts: I loved swinging at the park everyday and throwing and hitting tennis balls on the tennis court. I also tended to play in the downstairs bathroom toilet water more than once while mommy and daddy were busy talking. I slept through most of my sister's talking, yelling, and blabbering during naps and bedtime. I found out that big boys play with hot wheels and trucks and that all I want to do now is the same. If I could relax in a 100 degree hot tub all day I would, but mommy wouldn't let me. I chased and danced with the other kids, and only bit my sister in the buggy a few times when she provoked me. I had fun with everyone.
Thoughts on Mommy and Daddy: Despite the fact that mommy took a nap everyday, she still was tired at the end of the week. Mommy swam everyday with us and only took her eyes off me(lilly) once which of course ended in choking/throwing up water. Daddy always had fun and loved hanging out with us. He always pulled the buggy and only said his back hurt one time. Daddy and mommy kept us busy and then stayed up late and played games with the other big people. Sometimes they were really loud. Maybe that's what woke us up. We love them anyway.

We're baaaaaack! Did you miss us?
Here are just a few pictures of the big trip to Oregon...more to come :)

The headphones helped with the 7 hour drive while watching what else but Baby Einstein(seriously haven't they grown out of these?)

The bike buggy wasn't as successful as mommy and daddy hoped for at first

Are you serious about this thing? This is just mean and not a safety device. Luke is wondering if his parents will make him wear this thing.

Our attempt at being patriotic...Happy Birthday America by the way

Where's Waldo? Can you find the Petersen's at this Fourth of July Parade in Klamath Falls?
