Change is on the horizon

Someone got a new bed and the most lovely Calvin Klein bedding(like 4 sets..ask Auntie Jen...right Jen?)


Our room is coming the suedo office, and the old office/guest room..... THE PLAY ROOM! It's a work in progress, but its time. I mean they are almost 4. WOW.

TA DA....

Our side yards are paved, yipeee! We are lucky to have some connections and have some very generous friends who helped in this entire process. Thanks Danny and Sarah!!

Space that was not usable now feels like an addition to our house. We are so happy.




This is a question that will most likely happen in a year or so from now:

"Mommy. Why isn't my hand print and foot print on the cement?"

"Because you freaked out Drew and thought the cement was going to swallow you like a large crocodile in the wild"

The real conversation at present time goes a little something like this:
"Drew..why isn't your hand print under your name like Lilly?"

"I cry mommy. I run away from Grandma.(my mom was the one here when it happened and we were on a plane)Grandma says she gives me 10 chocolate chips. I run away and cry and scream no"

That is what he told me.

My mom has supported those statements of Drew's as facts.

Good Bye High Chairs

Hello a table made just for us.






We still have some room to grow into the table as you can see. We are enjoying our freedom, and mommy is enjoying cleaning up 4 times the mess as usual.

Not a empty wall anymore

Well...it's only taken over a year to get something up on the big wall in our living room. But it was well worth the wait. Minor details still to come, but it's something.

Helping Daddy

Daddy has taken off work for two weeks. We love daddy home with us. It seems like there is a lot more wrestling than normal though which is great for us.


He started a project to help us clean up our toys better and to "make mommy happy"


*Yes, those are real sharp screws. We don't recommend your child running with them at any time.

I worked up a good sweat doing yard work with daddy. I wonder how many monies I get for doing this chore?

Daddy has done this all by himself to give us and mommy a pretty backyard to play in. Thanks daddy for all your hard work and thank goodness for Advil to help with body aches and pains after doing all of that work.

We got to play on our grass today, sit and drink at our new table, and look at some new pretty flowers daddy planted.
