I get that assumption more than I care to remember. Poor little Lilly tomboy. It is usually when she is in white or some neutral color. She is such a girly girl to us....
People are so dumb. I avoid it all together and just ask "what are their names?" Then I don't stick my foot in my mouth. Some one told me that I had a very beautiful girl one time. "What is her name?" I said "His name is Cole". Also on a regular basis, Nicole and I would get asked at least once a day "Are they twins? I wanted to say "Yeah, and I make my friend carry one and breast feed him too.
I HATE THAT! I usually try to cut people slack when she is wearing red or blue, but I'm definitely losing patience. Especially when they ask "his" name and then I have to insist that Drew is a girl's name too.

Do people honestly think Lilly is a boy???? It's too bad she can't talk yet....
