Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween or should we say Early Merry Christmas with the colors of our costumes. We had a fun day. We first visited our Grandma and Great Grandma Lene in the morning to show them our happy faces

Then we went over to our cousins house and got to play, have pizza, and get ready for our first real trick or treating experience.

Okay...seriously true story and there are witnesses to back this story. Drew and Lilly started getting the hang of the trick or treating activities so Todd and I would hang back and let them walk up to the doors some what independently. Well one of the adults in our group(who knows of Lilly's obsession with four legged furry creatures) yelled, "Doggie Lilly." The dog reference right as Lilly was approaching the front door to strangers house(who were very friendly)initiated a full fledged push through the nice adults handing out candy and into the living room and kitchen where Lilly is yelling at the top of her lungs "DOGGIE." Drew seeing Lilly in the house decided he would check it out as well. Todd and I decided that we would then go to each door with them for the rest of the evening.

Proof of the kids in random strangers house...Ohhhhh and there was never any dog to begin with by the way.

Finally...some sort of progress

It doesn't look that cute from the front yet. We still need quite a bit more growth

Yipppeeeeee!!!

So most of you talk to me regularly know that we (as a family) just got our pictures professionally done by a very talented photographer from our church named Melody White. Melody put a few previews up on her blog, so I thought I would share. We had so much fun and would highly recommend her to anyone in the market for a local photographer :)

Check us out at Melody's site

I enjoyed taking a break from me being the one always taking the pictures. Letting the talented, artistic, and trained eye take pictures is a way better idea.

Is this some form of neglect?

Just to confirm...that is just whole lot of pee in that diaper that apparently hasn't been changed for awhile. The diaper probably weighs at much as Lilly.

Extra Curricular activities while eating

So what if we get bored while eating and like to keep busy with sculpture art using forks. Drew likes to demonstrate how he uses "the force" to make his fork stay still.

Plus..there has been a discovery of a certain noise in our house...oh boy...

One of many great ones

So this jump-o-lene is just one of the awesome gifts we got for our birthday. It's weird how a lot our presents are missing suddenly and mommy claims to not know where they went. {they went to the guest room for future use :)} We couldn't even wait until it was all blown up to start jumping and playing. See for your self...

Thanks Aunt Carol( or doe doe)for a gift that keeps on giving to us and our parents. Todd and I just sit there and let the kids wear themselves out for the day

Fun at the birthday party

These foam things were extremely difficult to get out of and I always needed an adult to help me. But then after the adult helped me, I usually screamed in their face because I wanted to do it by myself. Therefore after this pattern continued over and over, I was eventually banned from the foam pit

My Uncle Mattie came to our party all the way from his house that is far away. He thought he would try to show us how to do the iron cross. Maybe Lilly should show him how it's done.

Yummy cupcakes. I prefer the frosting on my face rather than in my mouth.

Lilly can do her circus swing and I will stick to the safer swing

I had to ask Nana to feed me my cupcake because I didn't like frosting on my hands or really on my face...seriously a clean eater

The Party!!

Check out our awesome birthday "room." We met all our friends at Healdsburg Gymnastics and had such a great time. We were hyper all day bouncing off the walls at home knowing something was special about the day called our birthday

Check out our digs :)

I jumped on the trampoline most of the day. The best part about a trampoline is when you fall, it doesn't usually hurt that bad

Ditto what she said

I personally enjoyed this game of play called "toss the toddler"

Here is a swing that goes really high in the air. I of course didn't shy away like my BIG brother

Happy Birthday to us!

Today is our second birthday! We weren't actually born until 3:30pm. Drew came first, and then Lilly a minute later. We have come a long way since that day. We love being two. And even though it's only 9am, we can already tell how much better being two is rather than just one year olds :)

Autumn Fun

We got invited out to an apple farm in Sebastopol for some fun Fall activities. There was this huge property with Apple trees all over, a fun new(to us) play structure, bikes to ride, hay rides on tractors, and much more....

Lilly of course decided to throw dirt on herself(good shot by Angie proving we are raising pig pen in the flesh)

This is her hair after trying to get the dirt out...it was much worse

The fun hay rides out to the Apple Orchard

Lilly thought Micah and Luke could use some help getting around in the 4-wheeler. Just call Lilly if you need a push...

She will push you with a smile

I promise Drew came too :) He was off doing scooters and bikes...

Some good ole' apple pickin

We got to go out and pick apples off a real big tree. We were mostly in charge of picking the apples off the ground and putting them in the "special bag for Lilly and Drew."

Mommy lifted me up to pick one actually off the tree.

Our cousin Micah and Aunt "Mamey"(we hear people call her Amy, but we prefer Mamey) came out with us to enjoy the yummy, pure organic red apples.

Micah helped scout out some good ones, and I insisted on helping.

We did our job very efficiently

I try to pick up as many as I possibly can and then usually end up getting mad because I drop them ever other second.

Adobe Pupmkin Patch

We got invited to our friend Brody's birthday party on Sunday at a Pumpkin patch. There were so many fun things to do there.

I wanted to climb the giant hay stack. I lost my footing quite often, but didn't give up.

Ohhhh, the view from the top was awesome. I like being taller than other people for once.

Mommy has to trick us by saying something like, "look at the giant balloon" so we will look at the camera somewhat at the same time. This doesn't capture the best picture for mommy.

A picture of the family on a hay ride. Look what happens when no tricks are involved. I mean what is so interesting on the ground?

More of the pumpkin patch

Whooooooa, that is one big cow.

It is only polite to greet, wave, and say hello to cows

I loved running through this hay maze. I never even got lost.

Is she mad at me because I can do the maze better than her? I did not touch her.
